Since the remake of ‘The Great Gatsby’ is coming to the cinema soon, and I’ve always loved the 1920′s fashion and jazz music, I’m excited and looking forward to seeing the movie! Volstead is a new to me store which offers beautiful evening dresses that fit the period, you should definitely try the demos if you’re into this style of clothes! And I just love the colour change Garbo hat from LeeZu. The pictures were taken at Shady Falls, a beautiful roleplaying sim well worth a visit!

The summer coat from NYU can be worn as a dress, too and is also out at FaMESHed. The hair is from Epoque – I’ve always loved their jewellry and just discovered they offer hairs, too! I love a nice updo, and this one comes with very well drawn matching hairbases. The skin is new from YS & YS, called Atena, and I immediately fell in love with the eyebrows and the skintone – a very soft, smooth tone!

summer feelin’

As soon as I saw these Redgrave jeans for men on Sugar’s blog, I knew I had to try them, and I think I’ll wear these for a long time, because to me, they’re just perfect! These jeans are so called “liquid mesh”, which means they fit themselves to your shape – be sure to try a demo before buying! If you do though, I think it’s a real bargain – three colours (blue jean, navy, black) in one package, with the belt in black, brown and mahagony thrown in! The jacket is from Les Petits Details – I can never resist a short jacket with loooong sleeves.

The worse the weather gets (it just snowed again here), the more I’m craving for sun, tanned skin, freckles and bleached hair (new hairstyles at Alice Project!) …

1. What is the rez date for your current SL Avatar that you use most often? Sisch Firecaster, 17th january, 2009
2. Where was the first place you made friends as a newb and got to know people in Second Life? Almost all my inworld friends are people that I met at the Machinima theater (see the 7 SL facts meme)
3. Where do you spend most of your SL time now? On my land or shopping, shopping and…. shopping!
4. Who is your closest friend in Second Life? (only pick one) Going to cheat massively here: I have only 3 people I would call friends and to whom I talk with any kind of regularity, and those are Riott Viking, Pandora Popstar and Moriko Inshan
5. What is the most favorite thing in your inventory? (only pick one) hrmpf, difficult! I guess it’s my shape, because that is what I perceive as me (so much so that my 2 alts have it, too).
6. The last thing you purchased in Second Life?  The 5th Anniversary Beige Heart Purse from Adore&Abhor
7. What color clothing does your avatar wear most often? not sure because my SLife is much more colourful than my RL (I mostly wear black RL), but I still think black is featured heavily
8. Do you prefer to walk, run or fly? I walk. And if I need to go somewhere fast, I teleport there by clicking on the ground. I’m not very good at flying and don’t really like to run.
9. What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done in SL? I’m totally boring, I really are! I don’t think I have done anything crazy ever!
10. Who would you like to play YOU, in the movie of your SLife? People would snore after 5 sec (because I’m so boring) … but Anne Hathaway. Yeah. Maybe that would keep them awake a little longer!
