small but mine

I love well made low prim stuff! So when I tp’d to Apple Fall yesterday – initially only to buy a giant fireplace which had caught my eye – I did some sky-box-on-sale hopping and fell in love with the New York apartment I’m showing you here. It’s mesh, it’s texture change, it has beautifully baked shadows and it’s only 10 prims!

Of course, a new skybox is a very good reason to buy new furniture and decorations, so…. I discovered a new to me store through an ad for a dress (which I also bought) – Ionic – and went a bit wild there… so many lovely things to discover! we’re ClOSED is another new to me store with fab things to find – well worth a visit!

The lighting in the New York apartment immediately lifts my spirits – for me, it spells spring. I love baked lights and shadows – my SL would be much too laggy if I left shadows on all the time, so baked shadows make everything look nice without the lag, though I would love to have an option with no shadows for picture taking!

I feel this little box will stay up for a while (I change my living arrangements often) and please my eye!

Some more event hunting today! I’ve grabbed the Fake skin at SL Fashion Week, the dress at Fi*Friday and the necklace at L’accessoires.

I’ve been to some events where there are hardly any demos for mesh items available… which makes me sad, because in 99% of those cases, I don’t buy, even if I like the item. I know it’s a hassle to make demos and upload extra textures for those, but pretty please with cherries on top? Demos for all mesh stuff, please!

I said it more than once – I love well made system-layer clothes! The Lulu blouse by LeeZu! is very sexy, and I can never have enough leggings. While shopping at LeeZu!, I fell in love with the beautiful Arabesque blouse/jacket – it’s prims (I wish there was a mesh version!), beautifully textured and easy to fit. Magika has new hair textures – even more different colours in a hud now! – the skin is from Pink Fuel, available at the Arcade gacha event as the clutch is, too. I love sneakers, the ones I’m wearing are new from LaRoo at FaMESHed and come in a bunch of colours!
